
Day 1: Colombo Airport ( Srilanka ) - Delhi Airport – Gaya Airport
Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, you'll board your connecting flight to Gaya. When you arrive at Gaya International Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative who will accompany you to your hotel and assist you with the check-in process. Take some time to rest and freshen up . In evening visit to Mahabodhi Temple, the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site in the world. This temple complex houses the Bodhi Tree, under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Dinner and overnight stay at Gaya .
Day 2 : Bodhgaya Day 3: Bodhgaya –Nalanda – Rajgir Vashali (210 km ) After breakfast at hotel Proceed to Vashali en-route visit Rajgir is a site of great Sanctity and significance for Buddhists. Visit Vulture Hill (Gijjakuta)- It is the place which is believed to be the place where Lord Buddha delivered one of his most significant sutras i.e. Lotus Sutras. Hot Springs, World Peace Stupa-also called the Peace Pagoda. A chair lift aerial ropeway that transports guests to the top of the hill and back down is one of the primary attractions.. Veluwanaramaya, also known as the Bamboo Garden.
After lunch drive to Nalanda, (12 kms). It was one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddist Studies. Nalanda was one of the greatest monastic universities of the ancient world University established in 5th century BC. It is believed that Lord Buddha and also the founder of Jainism religion Lord Mahavir taught at this university for years. There is even a monument to facilitate Chinese traveler monk and writer Hiuen Tsang who studied at this university in the 7th century A.D. Later drive to Vashali . Dinner and overnight at Hotel. Day 4 : Vaishali – Kushinagar (210 KMS |05 Hrs) After breakfast at Hotel visit Vaishali - where Lord Buddha preached his last sermon announcing his approaching Nirvana. Visit Vaishali stupa holding urns containing ashes of Buddha and Ashok pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka to mark places sanctified by Buddha. Continue drive to Kushinagar. Arrive & Check-in at hotel. Kushinagar is the place where Buddha entered perfect tranquility the state of Mahaparinirvana (where Buddha took his last breath) . Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast drive to Lumbini (05hrs). The birth place of Lord Buddha. Visit Maya Devi Temple - dedicated to Maya Devi, the mother of Gautama Buddha . The temple complex also includes a sacred pool where Maya Devi is said to have bathed before giving birth to the Buddha. Ashok pillar Ashoka Pillar, standing nearby Maya Devi shrine was constructed by Emperor Ashoka. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel .
Day 6: Lumbini – Kapilvastu–Sravasti | 280 KMS |07 Hrs|
DAY 7:SRAVASTI – VARANASI | 350 KMS | 8 -9HRS|
After breakfast at Hotel. Drive to Varanasi approx 350 kilometers, and the estimated travel time is approximately 8-9 hours. Varanasi is renowned among Hindus and Buddhists due to its close proximity to Sarnath. After arriving in Varanasi and completing the check-in process at your hotel .
Day 8: Varanasi - Sarnath – Bodhgaya( 270 kms/6 Hours )
