Patna Sahib Gurudwara Tour Package

Takht Sri Patna Sahib, A Gurudwara nestled in Patna was established in 1666 as a tribute to Guru Gobind Singh (tenth Guru of the Sikhs). It was established by Maharaja Ranjit Singh known as the foremost king of the Sikh empire and face behind many other Gurdwaras in the subcontinent. The existing holy place of Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji was established in the 1950s. Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born on the holy land of Patna in the year 1666. He has covered significant years of his life by travelling to Anandpur. Apart from the motherland of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Patna is the place which is visited by Guru Nanak and Guru Tegh Bahadur as well.

Gurudwara shri harimandir ji, patna sahib is situated in distt city patna. Shri guru tegbahadur sahib ji reached here while on his tour to assam and bengal. Guru sahib came here from sasaram, gaya. Along with guru sahib was mata gujari ji, mama kirpal das ji. Leaving his family in patna sahib Guru sahib left for assam and bengal tour. When shri Guru Tegbahadur Sahib ji reached here and entered deori (gate) that is still preserved here. This place was residence of salas rai johri ji. Who was great disciple of shri guru nanak dev ji. Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji also visited this place. Later baba gobind rai ji (shri guru gobind singh ji) was born to mata gujari ji. Local sangat provided all the necessary help to mata ji during that time. Shri guru teg bahadur sahib ji was in assam when he got to know about the news. Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji stayed till the age of six years. Till six years guru sahib used to play here in the patna city. Many people used to visit to have glimpse of gobind rai ji. A well of mata gujari ji is still preserved inside darbar sahib.
