Day 01 : Varanasi
On arrival at Varanasi airport/ Railway Station. Meet and greet by our company representative.
Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the world and the ultimate pilgrimage
for hindus. Who believed that to die in the city is to attain instant salvation Varanasi is the tract of
holy land lying between the Ganga and the Assi rivers. The Assi river also flow into Ganga . Varanasi is
also Knows as kasha, The city of light since one of the twelve 'Joyrtinglinga'is installed here.
Varanasi has been a great cultural centre, especially in the field of music, learning and the craft of
silk weaving.
Transfer to hotel. Upon check into and refresh your self . In evening proceed to Ganga Aarti at
Dasaswamedh Ghat . It take place at 18:45 pm . Dinner and overnight stay at Varanasi hotel.
Day 02 : Varanasi- Vindhyachal– Allahabad .
Distance from Varanasi- Vindhyachal :
70 kms/ 2 Hours
Distance from Vindhyachal to Allahabad 100 kms/ 4 Hours
Early morning boat excursion on the river Ganges, then proceed to visit Kashi Vishwanth Temple: Also
known as the Golden temple , dedicated to Lord Shiva. Varanasi is said to be the sight of the first
Shivlinga. Return to hotel. After breakfast proceed to Vindhyacha approx. 2 hour journey. Maa
Vindhyavasini Devi Temple - One of the 51 Shaktipeeths Vindhyavasini goddess of Vindhyachal. Then
proceed to Allahabad.
Allahabad ,scared city of Hinduism was formerly called 'PRAYAG ' in commemoration of a
sacrifice done by Lord Brahma. Accordingly to Hindu mythology for the ' Prakrishta Yagna' Lord Brahma
chose a piece of land on the earth on the confluences of the three rivers Ganga, The Yamuna and the
mytical Saraswati. This confluences is called SANGAM. The city was an important cantonment during the
British Raj and has some beautiful remnants of colonial architectur. In the early 20th Century ,
Allahabad was the foremost center of learning in the country.
After breakfast at hotel visit Mahabodhi Temple and Monasteries built by other Buddhist country. After
Lunch Sujata Village- The village was named after a girl who offered milk to Siddhartha Gautama on his
way to BodhGaya. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Bodhgaya .
Dinner and overnight stay at Allahabad hotel.
Day 03 : Allahabad - Varanasi
( Distance from Allahabad to Varanasi ( 120 kms/ 3 Hours)
Morning visit Sangam for Holi dip.The confluence of the Ganga , the Yamuna and the mytical saraswati.
The waters of the two rivers are of different colours and their meeting point in visible. During Kumbh
Mela thousand of devotees gather together for holi dip at the Sangam.
Hanuman Temple : The only temple in India near Sangam where the idol of Lord Hanuman
is to be seen in a reclining posture.
After breakfast drive to Varanasi . visit Sarnath – Buddha delivered his first
sermon.
BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY : Founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya as a centre for the
study of Indian art, culture, music and also Sanskrit it is developed into a modern academic centre of
various disciplines. It is believed to be the largest residential university in Asia
Dinner and overnight stay at Varanasi hotel
Day 04 :Varanasi – Bodhgaya
Distance from Varanasi – Bodhgaya ( 250 kms/ 5 Hours)
After breakfast to drive to Bodhgaya -The place where Buddha attained supreme Enlightenment. 5-6 Hour
journey . Upon arrival at Bodhgaya, check in hotel. Refresh yourself. Visit Mahabodhi Temple , 80th Feet
Statue Buddha .Dinner and overnight stay at Bodhgaya .
Day 5: Bodhgaya – Sasaram - Varanasi
Distance from Bodhgaya - Sasaram - (130kms/ 3 Hours)
Distance from Sasaram -Varanasi (130kms/ 3 Hours)
Moring transfer to Gaya 12 Kms / 30 min drive . visit Vishupad Temple - The place is so sacred for
Hindus performed Pinda danam here for his ancestors. It belived the footprints inside the temple of Lord
Vishnu. After breakfast visit International Monastery ( Japan , Tibet , china etc)
Later proceed to Sasaram Seven Wonders of India: Sher Shah Suri's tomb . After lunch proceed to
Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi . Rest of the day is free for shopping . Dinner and overnight stay will
be at Varanasi.
Day 06 : Varanasi
After Breakfast at hotel. In timely transfer to Airport/ Railway for onward journey.
